Lovina is about 90Kms from Denpasar but there is a range of mountains to cross
unless you come around the coast to the west of Denpasar which is much further.
The road is not bad but extremely busy and can get congested at times. It can take
anything from 2 - 5 hours. However it is a scenic trip and quite enjoyable.
Lovina is not actually a "place" it is a group of coastal "suburbs" in the province of Buleleng.
Kalibukbuk, Temoekoes, and Banjar. Within these suburbs there are "villages"
Aroha Villa is in the village of Dencarik, Banjar. Approximately 400 meters from Lotus Beach and
6 Kilometers from the Dolphin Statue.
Good Question: We decided on Modern as we wanted more of a home from home experience.
Beds are good quality matresses on padded bases.
Lounge, dining and occasional furniture is bespoke hand made teak upholstered in quality
fabric.
Kitchen is European style with 4 burner hob, full sized fridge/freezer.
Filtered hot, temperate, and iced water is available from the free standing water machine.
There is a toaster, microwave, juicer/blender and grinder. There suffient pots, pans and utensils to cook a full meal for four.
