Combine with Temple or Waterfall tour.

Krisna WaterSport in Lovina:
Paragliding, USD10
Paddle Boarding (approx 1.5 kms to the coral reef), USD25 for full day;

Jet Skiing, Banana Boat rides, Snorkling, and Scuba Diving.

Menjangan Coral Reef Scuba Diving
The reef is recognised as one of the 10 best Scuba Diving Spot in the world. It is located approximately 1 hour from Aroha Villa. Even without the Scuba or snorkling it is a beautiful place to visit. Of course it is also great for snorkling as the current moves you along at a nice speed.

Looky looky (Lihat, lihat)

There is so much to see in Bali that it is impossible to cover even a fraction here. All I can say is that you have an experienced driver/guide in Adhi and it is best you discuss what you want to see and do with him. (he's the guy in the yellow shirt with the usual big smile.
However a few suggestions to get you thinking.

Temples:
Temples are the the main reason Bali became a top tourist spot in the world. In the 50s, 60s and 70s when people discovered Bali, (as a result of the musical "South Pacific" and the song "Bali Hai") North Bali is the home of Balinese temples. They are the most serene places anywhere.

Waterfalls:
They are scattered right the way through the mountainous devide that runs across the centre of Bali. Some are an easy walk others should be listed under Adventure Attractions. Adi will advise you of the ones most suitable.

Coffee and Chocolate Plantations
Bali produces excellent coffee and chocolate. Plantation outlets are scattered across North Bali. They can be included in most of your tours - just talk to Adhi.

Dining out:

This particular restaurant offers a peaceful setting surrounded by lush greenery.
The menu features a variety of Balinese dishes, fresh seafood, and Western favorites, making it a versatile choice for all tastes.

We include dining out as an attraction as it is one of the fundamental things you do in Bali. If you go to the supermarket in Lovina you will pay USD10 - 12 for a bag of frozen giant prawns for 2 people. On the beach you will get the same prawns, fresh, for 2 people at the same price or much cheaper, served at your table with rice and side dishes. - Its a no brainer.

We have a page on dining out, but your best bet is to talk to Adhi, he knows all of our favourites.

On the Water

Dolphins
Surely all the world knows about dolphins in Lovina. Almost every day of the year of 20 to 40 dolphins, sometimes over 100, come into Lovina to feed on the reefs just 1 to 2 kms offshore. There are as many outrigger canoe operators waiting on the shore at 6:00am to take you out. Some, more envronmentally friendly operators, leave a little later and Adhi knows the best. He can take you to the beach and bring you home after your encounter.

Snorkling:
You can combine dolphin watching, swimming and snorkling for a few more $$s. There are abundant healthy reefs to snorkle and plenty operators to take you there. Usually snorkling is a bit later in the day but our recommendation is to combine the two and again Adhi can help choosing the best operators. We recommend combining both if you want to snorkle and take a light lunch.

Bioluminescence
This is a really MUST DO in Lovina, as it is a very rare phenonemon that occurs in few places in the world. It happens at night and it is caused by special rare bioluminous plankton. You choose a calm low moon night and go quietly off shore. Any spashing an the surface of the water causes the plankton to emit a blue glow. Sometime it can even happen on the shoreline caused by the lapping of the waves.
Fishing
Tropical oceans contain hugh numbers of oportunity for the fisherman, the Bali Sea is no exception. Lovina has sacrificed its fishing heritage for tourism as the later is more profitable. In some repects this is sad however the locals have made the choice.
Shore fishing:
If you would like to take the oportunity just talk to Adhi. He has his favourite spots and we have fishing rods availavle in the villa. Personally I would not each shore caught fish caught around the north shore of Bali, Ciguatera poisoning cause nausea, vomiting and diarrhrea. It is caused by fish that live on crustacea that live on the same plankton that produces the bioluminescence refered to above.
Game Fishing.
There are many different game fish within a few kilometers of Lovina shoreline. It is an ideal place for them. Water temperature ranges from 22 to 24 degrees and Mahi Mahi, Tuna, and bill fish abound. As there is no game fishing operations like we know in the western world of fishing you can get an outrigger canoe to take you out. I can tell you from experience it is a lot of fun.
